The VDT and the European AES have maintained close cooperation for many years. The reorganization of the AES structures in Germany and the foundation of AES Germany have provided the occasion to strengthen this cooperation once again. A first meeting, at which the first agreements were already made and ideas implemented, took place during the AES Convention in The Hague, to which - we reported - all VDT members had been granted the AES membership discount.

In many other areas, the associations complement each other ideally and will in future refer to the events of the partner association in their newsletters and websites.
