Stefan Weinzierl (TU Berlin) invites us to an afternoon dedicated to the acoustics of musical instruments: We will start with a guided tour of the acoustics test hall, including the anechoic chamber, followed by a lecture on the subject of “Anechoic chamber and acoustic research”.

The SALS returns with a session about 3D microphone recording techniques. Based upon Hyunkook Lee's 3D-MARCo research, we will listen to different microphone array recordings and discuss them over a cold drink.

For the first time, the VDT exibits at the Hamburg Open. The event takes place on January 15 and 16 in Hall B6 of the Hamburg Messe. We look forward to welcoming numerous visitors to our stand no. 738 and also to our presentations.
