Report from the Showtech

In the former bus depot, today's arena location directly on the banks of the Spree, the doors opened at 10:00 a.m. to a trade fair aimed specifically at the theater industry. Exhibitors from the fields of stage technology, control, scene planning, lighting, fog machines, sound systems, microphone technology, room acoustics, theater equipment, 3D video and audio were present in the large, self-supporting hall, which was the largest in Europe when it was built in the 1920s. Workshops and specialist lectures were also offered in various rooms.

At the VDT stand, especially on the second day of the fair, the day with the most visitors, interesting discussions were held with acquaintances from the industry as well as with new interested parties. Manufacturers from the fields of audio technology or room acoustics, representatives of training centers or other associations and, of course, active members and colleagues from the audio industry met here. There was a great deal of interest in the VDT - perhaps there will be one or two new members in the near future. In any case, we will see each other again at tmt33 in November!

All in all, it was a good opportunity for all visitors and exhibitors to make new contacts and deepen existing ones in a pleasant atmosphere.
