Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS)
In cooperation with the University of the Arts Bremen (HfK), the VDT's Young Talent & New Members Department, and the AES Student Section Hamburg, the VDT invites you to the next edition of SALS on September 19 at 15:45 p.m. at the HfK Bremen.
The HfK Bremen's music department has a recording studio with a 9.1.4 monitoring system. This offers the possibility to compose and mix in 3D audio. Students' electroacoustic compositions can be performed in the university's concert hall, which has a 46-channel sound system including active acoustics. The research and digitization project “We Dig It!” has intensified work with 3D audio in the areas of composition, live sound, and recording. In addition, renowned composers are regularly invited to give courses and portrait concerts.
On September 19, the SALS team will curate an evening at the 9.1.4 recording studio at HfK Bremen. We look forward to historical and modern multichannel pieces, a composition by Youngjae Cho that won gold at the Student 3D Audio Production Competition (S3DAPC), and lively exchanges with you!
Due to limited space, free participation is only possible with advance registration at .
You are welcome to share this invitation with anybody interested.
