Dear colleagues,

I hereby invite you to our next regional meeting. Gerd Ruberg, Head of Audio at RTL, will welcome us on 9 February at 4 p.m.

As far as I know, this is the first time that the VDT regional group has had the opportunity to take a look inside the studios of RTL Cologne. I think it will be very exciting.

The plan is to visit the image and sound control rooms 1 and 4, among other things. This is where the daily news and magazine programmes are produced. We will also take a look at some of the post-production studios,

and perhaps we will even be able to visit the large studio.

Parking is available on the studio grounds. To access the visitor car park at Picassoplatz 1 (Rheinparkweg 1), you must ring the bell at the barrier and you will then be granted access.

Public transport is also no problem, as the Cologne-Deutz railway station with DB and S-Bahn is only a few minutes' walk away. The same applies to KVB lines 1, 9, 3 and 4 (Deutz/Messe and Messeplatz stops).

As capacity is limited, prior registration is required. Please register by email with the sender by 2 February.

Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to continue the discussions in a relaxed setting. I have reserved a table at the Deutzer Brauhaus for 6 p.m. If you would like to join us, please let me know

by the deadline. The first round will be on RG Cologne.
