SALS goes Ludwigsburg - Spatial Audio Listening Session
Disclaimer: The event will be held in German.
Dear all,
The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, in cooperation with the Stuttgart Regional Group and the Young Professionals Department, invites you to the Spatial Audio Listening Session (SALS) on February 20, starting at 7:00 pm. This time we will meet in the film mixing stage of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg
Murnau Building
Mathildenstraße 29
71638 Ludwigsburg
The Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg is one of the leading institutions for film, animation, and interactive media education in Europe. Its film mixing stage is a fully equipped cinema mixing room and supports work in Dolby Atmos. The facility is technically equipped with an AVID S6 console, two Pro Tools systems, a Dolby RMU, and JBL cinema loudspeakers.
On February 20, we will embark on an acoustic journey through time and formats. We will listen to historical productions and discover that Spatial Audio has been conceived and produced for much longer than just the past few years. Channel-based productions will meet object-based ones, allowing us to analyze and discuss their differences in detail. In addition to listening, professional exchange will be at the core of the session. Curator Leon Sudahl will provide context for the pieces and lay the foundation for in-depth discussions.
Binding registration is required by February 10. The number of participants is limited to 20.
Detailed directions will be sent during the week of the event.
Please feel free to forward this invitation to other interested colleagues.
Best regards,
Max & Max
