You have voted: The result of the Board of Directors election has been determined

The month-long Board election ended on the night to April 22. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the election as a candidate or by casting a vote.

With 275 valid votes or just under 16%, the turnout was significantly lower than in the last Board election. Admittedly: In 2022, we had been able to mobilize almost a quarter of those eligible to vote, which was really high for an association. Unfortunately, we were unable to build on this mobilization this time.

As stipulated in our statutes, Ulrike Anderson was confirmed as President in a separate ballot. The remaining board members were voted on in the second ballot, with each eligible voter being able to tick up to five potential board members. The new board is then made up of the president and five other board members.

The votes were distributed as follows:

• Ulrike Anderson: 227 yes-votes, 84 %, elected as President
• Daniela Rieger: 226 yes-votes, 82 %, member of the Board of Directors
• Jörn Nettingsmeier: 217 yes-votes, 79%, member of the Board of Directors
• Detlef Halaski: 163 yes-votes, 59%, member of the Board of Directors
• Lucca Riitano: 140 yes-votes, 51%, member of the Executive Board
• Jürgen Goeres-Petry: 138 yes-votes, 50%, member of the Board of Directors

• Christopher Sauder Engeler: 128 yes-votes, 46%, On the list of successors
• Michael Singer: 113 yes-votes, 41 %, On the list of successors

Ulrike, Daniela, Jörn, Detlef, Lucca and Jürgen have accepted their election. The new Board will be constituted on May 18 and 19 in Munich. Until then, the current board will remain in office.

We would like to warmly congratulate all the elected board members and thank those who are available as potential successors. A big thank you also goes to the previous Board and especially to the Board members Christopher Sauder Engeler and Marcel Remy who are now stepping down.
