The three-year term of office of the Executive Board ends in the second quarter of 2025, so new elections were due. The current President Ulrike Anderson had been nominated by the Extended Board as the new presidential candidate, a procedure prescribed by our Articles of Association. All other Board members are elected by the members in a separate ballot, with the President only being confirmed in her nomination.

We were delighted that we had eight applications this time, including Ulrike's candidacy for President. We congratulate all new board members.
